Fleet Managers Converge at the Hungaro-Ring

For the third year in a row, CASON has again sponsored the Automobile Fleet Management Trade conference held this year at the Hungaro Ring racing circuit just outside of Budapest, Hungary.

“The fleet management conference is always a good opportunity to come together with fleet managers from around the country and find out what issues are important to them now,” said Hans Peterson, CASON’s product manager for the company’s GPS based products known as DIWICON-M.

“The DIWICON-M products and systems have evolved a lot since we sold our first fleet management system. Today we are focusing on giving our professional sector customers the tools to expand their fleet management systems into full mobile workforce management and personal security systems,” continued Mr. Peterson, “and the ideas expressed at events like this are what help us to decide where to go from here.”

Mr. Peterson’s presentation on Innovations in Fleet Management Technology, emphasized the fact that convergence is a key trend in technology innovation today. “We are not so much inventing new technologies as we are combining existing technologies in innovative ways to make more things possible in fewer and smaller packages,” he said.
