Where the Future Has Already Begun...

"The other project is related to a development in Romania aimed at personal tracking where the information of GPS/GPRS tracking units carried by individuals is to be processed and displayed on a map. Since the Romanian coverage of widely used map engines does not reach street level, we have to fill this gap with our own developments for the time being. The SPATIAL support available in SQL 2008 provides assistance in that and seems to be very useful behind geocoding motors."
