CASON is First with Business & Success
CASON Engineering Plc. received the Business & Success Qualified Venture award for being the most competitive and most innovative company in the category of production companies with annual sales revenues exceeding 1 billion HUF (4 mil. EUR).
CASON’s management representatives were very pleased to receive the recognition and consider it especially important that it was an independent professional competition in which the company came out on top.
The most noteworthy nominees for the award were selected from 250 applicants based on objective analyses and indicators. The certificate was awarded on the basis of the test results of an online site to companies with prominently successful, innovative and competitive management.
“We wanted to be evaluated and, of course, our aim was to be among the award winners. We’re pleased by the success and especially by the fact that others appreciate our work and are helping to spread the reputation of the company in the framework of an independent professional initiative" - said Ferenc Szakács, CEO of CASON after receiving the award.
The company was established in 1992 and is still managed by its owners. It is a high-tech equipment development and production company in Hungary with the most dynamic development curve specialised in the development of complex industrial and business measurement systems. CASON received the “Europe’s 500” award in November 2006 including it among the 500 fastest developing companies creating the most new jobs in Europe. CASON was also twice awarded the prestigious Hungarian Innovation Award to be followed by the current Business & Success award in the series of impressive recognitions.
The company is already well-known in the world market for its innovative developments distributing products and services in the fields of transportation, industrial automation and wide area industrial monitoring systems from the United States to Singapore. The DIWICON technology developed by CASON is used globally with success in various areas of mobile workforce management and industrial supervision systems from oil pipeline leak detection to gas industry automation and fleet tracking to location based personal security protection.
The annual turnover of the company with altogether 120 employees in five countries of the world exceeded 2.3 billion HUF (9.2 mil. EUR) in 2007. CASON customers include companies like Shell, E.ON, Gaz de France, General Electric, MOL, Slovnaft and T-Mobile.
